| On six acres of beachfront, the ResortQuest Islander on the Beach is located seven miles from Lihue airport, eight miles from the town of Lihue, and adjacent to Coconut Plantation Marketplace. The plantation-styled buildings of this resort recall Kauai's history as an agricultural center. Guests at the resort have the run of more than six beachfront acres on Kauai's east coast. Watersports can be enjoyed at the hotel, while golf and tennis can be found nearby. On-site facilities include a pool and Jacuzzi. The Coconut Plantation Marketplace, adjacent to the hotel, is home to more than 60 shops and a theater. The hotel features a Jolly Roger Restaurant and a snack bar, and the Coconut Plantation Marketplace has various restaurants as well. Services include free parking, baby-sitting, guest activities desk, gift/sundries shop, and laundromat. Rooms are decorated in ocean-blue hues and each has air-conditioning, cable television, safe, wet bar, refrigerator, coffeemaker, phone, and private balcony.
